Whether you’re considering study, supporting someone who is, or simply curious to explore the campus and facilities, Open Day is open to you. Parents, partners, friends, and community members are all encouraged to attend.

Yes, we strongly recommend registering.

Registering allows you to:

  • Receive event updates and reminders
  • Access key event information in advance to plan your day
  • Skip the registration queue on the day
  • Receive post-event information, including application support and news about future events.
  • Go into the draw to win a money can’t buy experience with the North Queensland Cowboys.

Yes. Please have your ticket ready on arrival.

  • If you have a mobile ticket, ensure it’s easily accessible on your phone
  • If you have a printed ticket, please bring it with you for scanning

Wear comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes.

Enclosed footwear is required if you plan to tour facilities such as labs or learning spaces. We also recommend sun-safe clothing, sunscreen, and a hat, as parts of the day will be outdoors.

No pre-booking is required for presentations.

Information sessions run throughout the day and are open to all attendees.

Campus tours:

  • Townsville & Cairns: Tour capacity is limited. Reserve your spot on the day using the QR code in the Open Day program
  • Mackay: No booking is required for tours
