Hi, my name is Amina, and thank you for supporting this cause.

I am a caregiver for several family and loved ones living with sickle cell disease. Witnessing their daily challenges has given me a deep sense of responsibility to raise awareness and create real support within our community.

This year on world sickle cell awareness day (June 19th), I am combining my love of hiking with my mission by climbing Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK, to raise funds and awareness for SickleFES CIC.

SickleFES supports individuals and families affected by sickle cell through community workshops, hospital care hampers, creative wellbeing sessions, youth and family events, and public awareness campaigns. We provide emotional support, education, advocacy, and safe spaces for people living with Sickle Cell to connect and heal.

The money raised will help fund:

• Care hampers for hospital patients

• Community and wellbeing workshops

• Awareness events and community outreach

• Resources for families, carers, and young people

Every donation helps us reach more people and make a tangible difference in their lives.
