'What the Hell?': Family and pet dog frightened by bald eagle’s visit

A bald eagle staring through the glass door of a Washington state home scared and fascinated a family and their pet dog when they saw the animal.

The eagle closely observed the family’s dog Gnocchi, who looked somewhat uneasy at that moment.

Stacy Gross filmed the moment replying, "What the hell?" "Does it want to eat Gnocchi? Could she carry our dog away?" Gross asked her husband, Jim, to which he responded, "Oh, hell yeah, she could!"

Gross later hopped on Instagram sharing that the bald eagle spent more than a day outside their home before the animal eventually flew away.

"It’s off to the side of our house on a log. We have lots of videos and photos. We are beyond thankful for the experience and we were never in fear of Gnocchi flying away," she wrote.

"Game and Wildlife came out. It’s NOT hurt, likely ate a deer (their words), which makes them basically unable to fly for 24-48 hours. It’s off to the side of our house on a log," she added
