All right, now let's talk about the data and control flows of MCP. We're going to trace the flow of data and control through an MCP-based agentic system, identify where security controls should be applied in the data flow, and recognize how control decisions can be influenced by attackers. Again, putting our hacker hat on here, or hacker hoodie, I should say. So the MCP data flow, let's look at this step by step. So the first thing we have is the user. The user is the one that's providing that general goal or query to the agent. Then the agent plans. It determines what capabilities it needs. Again, like, hey, you know, book a reservation on this day, at this time, at this restaurant, and we have those agents that, you know, that is involved in that planning. Which agents do I need?
