Clarifying expectations without full answers

You know when your manager mentions a shifting priority in passing, or a system update changes how your work gets tracked, and suddenly you're not quite sure what you should be focusing on, who's responsible for what, or what "done" even looks like anymore? This is the reality of working through change. Or maybe there were a few incremental shifts, and then you suddenly realize a gap has formed between what you expected and what's actually happening. In psychology, we call this a breach in the psychological contract, and I've included a file in the handouts if you're interested in learning more about it. There are three things worth clarifying whenever you feel those gaps widening. First, priorities. What matters most right now, given what's changed?
