Salmson & Delightful Design
The car is a 1927 Salmson Grand Prix racing car (NSW Historic Vehicle registration 20287-H). The photo was taken at the Albion Park Air Show 2009 held at Albion Park Airport, Albion Park, south of Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia on 22 February 2009.
The camera was a Nikon D70 digital camera fitted with a Tamron AF Aspherical LD DiII SP 11-18mm 1:4.5-5.6 [IF] zoom lens.
The design was made using Gimp software - select/copy/paste to isolate car from its background, scaled & rotated and then superimposed atop a French flag background which was modified using shear and perspective tools.
