Alleluia
Brenda’s 2020 artwork Alleluia employs seven butterflies as symbolic archangels watching over the world, guiding it through to better times. The moths are the Father and Son, resting on the triangle representing the Trinity; but also could represent transformation. The tree is the earth and the energy spiral mixing in the center is the collective consciousness ( aka Holy Spirit). Christian symbolism is frequently in my work as are ancient and alchemic and pagan motifs. The imagery rests amid a sacred space of geometric form.
