Job Description for Software Development Engineer

Designation: Software Development Engineer

Qualification: Open to CS, Electronics, IT, Maths and Computers or Related branches

Location: Any of DPA’s office locations

Shift: Regular or Rotational Night Shift (If required)

Experience: Freshers (0-1 Years)


Criteria: 1. Percentage Total of SSC & HSC should be 160% & above
2. CGPI Cut Off- 7.5/10
Note: Please note candidates fulfilling the above mentioned % criteria will only be considered.

Salary Package: The CTC we shall offer would be Rs.4,20,000/- per annum inclusive of Rs.40,000 retention bonus.

The retention amount will be given to the employee only if he/she successfully complete his/her one year of
service with the company.

Job Description:

At Decimal Point Analytics, we have large projects horizon starting from a scraping, complex mathematical
computing, real-time data analytics, text analysis, sentimental analysis, audio and video data processing, machine
learning, automation, large scale data deliveries and so on.

We are looking for highly capable, motivated candidates who:


• Can Contribute to design robust and scalable solutions.
• Can demonstrate Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts
• Can work with Relational / NoSQL database
• Understands any of the programming languages like
o Python
o Java script/Type Script (with basic understanding of HTML, CSS)
o PL/SQL

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Working with Product, Design, and operations teams to own end to end features including designing the
architecture, data storage, API integrations and the user interface.
• Work on diversified domains.
• Working on latest frameworks, APIs, communication protocols, algorithms, optimization techniques, load
distribution, cloud technologies
• Contribute to Designing Large scale data delivery and highly available systems.

Skill Sets:

• Excellent problem-solving skills; should be able to apply critical thinking.


• Ability to meet deadlines, learn new technologies and processes, handle multiple responsibilities.
• Should be self-motivated to learn and work independently.
• Should be able to communicate clearly and effectively present thoughts and ideas.
