Integrated Course) Project Selection As per syllabi of MCA (5 years integrated) course, each student of MCA has to submit a minor project at the end of 3rd year selecting one of the current topics from his/her specialization area. Project should have substantial computing content with practicaloriented in object-oriented language(C++ or JAVA). Every student is to take up a project individually. Selection of Supervisor Each student will choose a guide/research supervisor. The supervisor must have Masters Degree in the relevant field or regular teacher working in Govt. Semi Govt. Institute University Engineering College with five years of teaching experience. Some Important Points to be carried out in Project The work that is presented for examiners should be your own work. Students are advised to pay attention to the level of quality of their English. The length of text is about 2500-4000 words, but text should have specific meaning i.e. focus the work on project area. If the project related to application area with which a computer scientist would not be familiar-such as Electronics, Chemical, Stock & Shares etc. In such case it might be necessary to include some explaining company organization profile and might be mentioned in Appendix part. But your project work should be focused in computer science. Project Submission Two copies of project report (typed in Word Processing software) should be submitted upto 28-02-2007 (hard-bound, green colour cover with golden print on the cover) along with a fee of Rs. 1000/-. If the candidate fails to submit the same by the above dates, he/she will be treated as Absent. Reports should be printed on one side. The report should be printed 10-12 font sizes with vertical spacing 1.5. The pages should be numbered (at the centre of bottom of each page).
