STEPS FOR MYSQL INSTALLATION

FROM LAB
1. You will get MySQL SETUP.EXE file either in GCR or in mail. Open your file → Click
Download which is shown in the picture.
In GCR
a) Click SETUP.EXE.

b) Click Download.

c) Click download anyway.


In MAIL

After download setup.exe using GCR or mail , follow the steps below

2. After downloading the EXE file, go to MY COMPUTER → Click DOWNLOADS → Double


click SETUP.EXE.

3. You will get this SETUP WIZARD WINDOW → Click NEXT.


4. Click NEXT.

5. Click INSTALL.

9. Click FINISH.

21. Type the password as root in both the boxes. Then click NEXT.

22. Click EXECUTE.

SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED YOUR MYSQL INSTALLATION.

23. To open MYSQL in your computer:

Click START or SEARCH → Type MYSQL COMMAND LINE CLIENT .


24. Enter the password as root.

25. After entering the password, you will get MYSQL editor window.
26. Now you can create database as shown in the picture below.
