Restaurant open Thurs, Fri & Sat 5-9pm every week

We are now open for Saturday brunch in April, 9am-1pm

The restaurant is open only a few days in May due to our event bookings. The days we are open in May are Fri 1st, Thurs 14th, Fri 15th, Thurs 28th, Fri 29th

Our Story

Tam’s Kitchen started in the first lockdown of 2020, as a vegan takeaway from Tamara’s (my) house!

I was on furlough and thought I’m just going to try and set up my own business. I have had 15 years of experience working in hospitality all over the world and I always wanted to have my own vegan restaurant. I just never pictured this would be how it started. With a lot of help from my mum, Fran, TK was able to take off!

Now skip to 2024 it has grown to an event catering business, and we opened the first vegan restaurant in April 2023. I used to make a variety of menus and dishes at home – but the business really took off when we started doing our vegan burgers and catering at events, markets and festivals. Hence our cute burger man logo!

We have been doing events around Devon and Cornwall now for 3 years. After a lot of renovations and decorating the restaurant opened at 59a Winner Street in Paignton and offers both dine in and takeaway.

Tam’s Kitchen wouldn’t be Tam’s Kitchen without the team of amazing people supporting me, I am lucky to work closely with some of my best friends (and family) to bring you the best vegan food in Torbay. Together we make a huge selection of burgers, loaded fries, various main courses and delicious desserts, all of which are 100% vegan!
