  • For The Working Class Man 40 years later.

It’s hard to review this because it’s my favourite EVER song. I saw the show in the Hunter and then at the Opera House. I’ve seen Jimmy Barnes more times than I can remember. The power and energy he puts into each show is phenomenal. From a very hot Hunter I found the excitement of the crowd is still there. We are all a little older, greyer and some wider(me). It was good to see some younger ones rocking away. Sydney at the Opera House was a little cooler but so loud in a good way. I could not fault the song choices. A little bit of Chisel throw in had the crowd roaring. The surprise guest Diesel was brilliant. Magic on the guitar. Add Mahalia and it really was a good time. The start of working class man always brings a tingle down my spine. Perhaps my only issue is I would have loved to buy a tour book like the old days. Just a rocking great show. Congratulations to everyone who worked hard to put this show on. I look forward to the 50th anniversary tour.

Beautiful night by the Opera House and the Harbour. Jimmy was a great showman through nearly 2 hours of performing. Great band and backup singers. Cool videos. Well run event with good food and drink choices and no long queues.

  • Never fail to amaze!

by Blacky on 9/12/25Bimbadgen - PokolbinRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve been lucky enough to have seen you perform live over 60 times starting when I was 15 years old. Saturday’s performance was up there with the first time. Energy and power is unmatched, leaving nothing in the tank every show. The song selection was brilliant and dedication to fans incredible, coming out straight after the storm. To say you’ve still got it is an understatement! Keep on rocking

  • Aussie music at it’s best

by GG on 7/12/25Bimbadgen - PokolbinRating: 5 out of 5

Incredible concert from start to finish. The Aussie music clips in the breaks were wonderful and brought back so many memories. Every performer gave their all, it was a perfect concert despite the weather . Traffic movements were much better than the last concert there.
