WATERFORD, Vt. (WCAX) - A Vermont man was arrested after police say he broke into a Waterford home and was found in the kitchen eating a sandwich.
It happened just after 11 a.m. on Wednesday. Vermont State Police Police responded to a 911 caller who said a man was breaking windows to get inside the Cross Road home.
Police say Anthony Heath, 33, of St. Johnsbury, threw a milk jug through the front door of the house, entered the home and helped himself to some food. Police found him in the kitchen eating a sandwich.
Heath faces multiple charges after allegedly violating his conditions of release and not complying with the Sex Offender Registry.
Heath is being held on bail.
