Game is ok but losing all your gems for getting a game over is kinda ridiculous. Kinda glad I got this game on sale because I highly doubt I'm finishing it. It has nice graphics but the game overall leaves something to be desired.
Hello, thank you for your purchase; however, I'm a little confused, since the game saves the gems separately—in other words, even if you get a "Game Over," the gems aren't lost! Please give us more details; maybe you've discovered a bug, or let us know where you've been playing the game. Some Game Boy/Color emulators can cause problems with the game.
Well I am using a flashcart, and whenever I get a game over I have to go recollect every single gem I collected in previous worlds because they disappear. I did not think it was a bug but maybe it is?
That's it! What kind of flashcart are you using? The game's save format is often incompatible with some flashcarts, just like with the Analogue Pocket; that's why the Analogue Pocket version is included in the downloads. Let me know which flashcart you're using, and maybe I can create a patch to make it compatible with your flashcart.
I've added a version labeled "For Everdrive" that's been patched to fix the save file issue; I hope this resolves the error you're experiencing. As a suggestion, please back up and delete the ROM and any save files generated from the previous game on your Everdrive before trying the patched version. If the error persists, please let me know.
Well I was shock there's no .exe file after I buy this game, but then I see GBC file and I use GameBoy Color for play that game lol, and yeah it's a nice simple game! (I'm still clear stage 1 btw)
Thank you for pointing that out; the Windows version has been removed from the downloads due to issues with that version. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please contact me via my X account so I can provide you with a Steam key, which will give you access to the Windows version.
I recently got the game. It's really well made. The first stage is a bit slow, but the addition of new enemy types and more complex level structures make it a worthwhile game. I only have one question. I got to the last stage and got all the gems, but I only have one life. If I lose that one, do I have to start all over again? In any case, congratulations...great game.
Thanks for your support. Don't worry if you reach "Game Over"—you'll just have to replay the level you're on, which in your case is the last stage; your gems will remain intact. I hope you enjoy the game.
Thank you for purchasing Cosmo Knight Zion. We apologize for the delay in providing the Steam keys; we have now restocked the game for users who are still waiting to redeem their Steam keys.
Hi, soon we would be able to release a few more carts for those that missed the Kickstarter, keep in touch or follow ZeichiGames on X to know when and where.
Wow! I'm only one stage in, but the graphics, gameplay, and music are fantastic. It feels so authentic, that I have a hard time believing it didn't come out in 1990!
Thank you for your kind words! We're glad that you think our work is competent and we appreciate your support. We'll keep working hard to make the game even better. Thanks for playing!
Thank you so much! I'm thrilled that you are enjoying the game and appreciate your feedback. We were definitely inspired by classic games like Ninja Gaiden and Ghosts & Goblins, and we're glad to hear that the gameplay has a cool Shinobi vibe. Thanks for playing and sharing your thoughts!
This game shows a lot of talent, and is so far one of the best GB homebrew titles out there, so I think moving in this direction away from the licenced property it was based on is a great idea. Looking forward to seeing where it goes.
Thank you very much. It was an interesting decision to want to take advantage of the already created game. The project is progressing very well and is becoming something totally different from the original fangame. I really hope you like this new project.

Where is the Windows version on itch? It's not one of the included files even though the download page says this:
"For Itch.io Version:
Windows Edition: Unzip the ZIP file. Inside you will find two files: an .EXE executable and a .DLL. Make sure both are in the same folder."
There isn't a Steam key either.
Thank you for pointing that out; the Windows version has been removed from the downloads due to issues with that version. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please contact me via my X account so I can provide you with a Steam key, which will give you access to the Windows version.
Ok gotcha.
I contacted you a while back but you never responded. I just made a followup message on X.
My apologies—I've already seen your message request; let's continue the conversation on X. Once again, my apologies.

Just bought it, it's been ages since last time a bought a gameboy game :P. Btw, seems to be out of steam keys.
Thank you, I hope you enjoy the game; we'll be giving away more Steam keys soon.
Really cool game! I love the artwork a lot, one of the best looking modern GB games I've seen.
Also, any chance we could get some more Steam keys? My copy says none are available. No rush though!
I'm wondering about the steam key as well.
Here about the steam key, too, actually.
Here for the steam key too :)

They ran out fast! Can you restock them again?
I got it now. Thank you.
Hola!

Anymore ways to get a physical GBC cart?
Hi, soon we would be able to release a few more carts for those that missed the Kickstarter, keep in touch or follow ZeichiGames on X to know when and where.
Check the site VideoGamePLus, they have a few copies for sell.

Is a digital manual included?
Yes, but only within the executable version for Windows.
I'm interested.
Super cool game!
Van a hacer algun release en formato físico?

This is great! Love the gaining and losing armour, has that Altered Beast/Ghost & Goblins touch, and plays like a really cool GBC Shinobi. Great work
