Hello,

I have a problem navigating ars today, the cookie banner keeps reappearing every time I change page.

I tried multiple things :
  • On chromium and firefox
  • Disabling ublock origin
  • In private mode (so no extensions)
  • Accepting or denying all cookies
  • Allowing third-party cookies
Result is always the same. I'm out of ideas.

I'm thinking this might be related to this issue from yesterday, since it's also something appearing on every page when it shouldn't :

Hey @wokati - I'll raise the issue with the people that manage the consent stuff. I know the shifting GDPR situation in your particular region has made setting even necessary cookies a challenge of late, so that could be part of it if the data governance group is adjusting things.

One thing I might ask you to try so I can send them more details: If you have a VPN, please try connecting to an EU country different than yours and see if you still get the same issue. If so, please try again from a private window.

If it's nailed down to a particular region, we can probably troubleshoot it better, although I wasn't able to replicate it with VPN from here.

Thanks!

Hi, sorry I had forgot about that post. Looks like everything works now.

Problem was gone Monday morning (and maybe earlier, I don't use ars on week-ends).

No idea what was going on, I didn't do anything that could fix it, so it was either fixed on your side or a temporary issue.

One thing I forgot in my original post, in case someone gets the same problem later, I had tried on both my workplace internet access and my phone hotspot, so didn't depend on network. Both are in the same country though.

Thanks for your help.
