Stupid video on each Ars page … since more than 2 years

Ars does not really control that one. It is part of an ad... Why they still run Callisto Protocol is a mystery. But you don't see it if you login with a subscription.

I have never seen this mystery video. I... I have never seen Ars without a sub... Or rather. It has been decades since I have. What Ars looks like without a sub is lost to the depths of time. I am, quite honestly, a little afraid to even check out Ars without logging in. Not even for curiosity. 'cause you know, what happens to cats, you know.

/Edit: oh. Guess you don't have to sub to avoid it, just login.

Thanks you all. just really a curious and boring and odd feature to have always the Callisto Protocol video pop up on each page of Ars when I read Ars witout login. Some bizarre bug maybe. MOst of the time it is convenient to read web pages without login. So to check if there is an interesting thing to rezd, to lezrn from Ars. On Wired, no such nuisance, although also owned by Conde Nast.
Cheers.
