1. Just got this classic in the post from Puffin. I did the cover (obviously) Happy with the result, although they’ve saturated the reds A LOT which gave me a shock at first…But they know what they’re doin. I’m used to it now and it’s probably better.

  2. Did this botanical drawing for today’s NY Times Review. About doctors over- prescribing opiates. Never used this technique for a quick turnaround editorial before. Risky, but it worked out. Phew.

  3. New screen print! Soon available in my Internet Boutique.

  4. Yesterday’s Ideas, Today’s prices! A piece very much inspired by Lucien Boucher, who I adore!

  5. Art for the people!

  6. Another day of hairpulling at Spike Print Studio. Doing everything the hard way and goin through a whole catalogue of errors. Final separation ready now. Wish me luck!

  7. Just came across this image deep in the belly of my computer. A failed experiment from 3,5 years ago…Now I quite like it however. Drawn with charcoal. A real mess I seem to remember.

  8. Just done these here screen prints! First of many I hope, as I have joined Spike Print again after a long hiatus. Drawn on mark resist, so no computery textures, in an effort to make my work a bit less tight. Will reopen my shop when I have some more new stuff. Cheers!

  9. New Studio. Up and running at last!

  10. My new book is out!

  11. Went to a trial run of The Ivy Market Grill in Covent Garden last night. Had a really juicy steak and finally got to see the fruits of my wood cut experiments from back in July. It’s a stunning place (grand 1920’s feel) and I’m proud to be part of it, although no one would ever guess that I did this! Where are all the characters?

  12. My first vaguely successful attempt at pottery!

  13. Just walking in the raiiin, getting soaking wet…

  14. School daze…

  15. Another page done…I think. On to the next. Picture books are hard work. Bit different this. A bit serious. I suspect I’m overworking it. Judging by the amount of layers I am. Oh well….no time to change direction now! My next book will be bolder, I promise!!
