• What is openschc about ?

  • It is about the SCHC (Static Context Header Compression) protocol from the IETF working group LPWAN. Oversimplifying, this is essentially IPv6 compression for low datarate, low range IoT networks.
  • The short/medium term goal is to organize SCHC Hackathons that occur at IETF
  • The long term wish is to have a stable codebase for the SCHC protocol (in Python)
