Hi! I'm Kate! I’m an award winning maker of functional art who’s work hung at the National Quilt Museum. My quilts were featured in the Quilts of Valor: A 50-State Salute book and in Fat Quarters by the Dozen by It’s Sew Emma. I’m the Block of the Month Chair of the Birmingham Quilters Guild, and the Greater Birmingham Area Quilts of Valor coordinator.
I'm also a former (he’s retired!) Air Force wife and mom to two kids who are obsessed with minky quilt backs. I've let robots take over my housekeeping so I have more time to sew. I run half marathons (because full marathons are too long.)
