“ When I stepped into the 11th floor lounge of Scholastic, saw the amazing Manhattan skyline, and found dozens of Latinx writers hoping to be friends. Finally, I felt like I belonged (in a very magical way). Can't wait to see you again next year!”

What airport should I fly into?
The Conference will take place in SoHo, a neighborhood in Lower Manhattan, NYC. We recommend you fly into La Guardia Airport or Newark Liberty Airport. Both are about an equal distance from the venue.
How do I get from the airport to Manhattan?
You can use public transportation such as the MTA bus system, or pay for a taxi or rideshare. On average, a ride from EWR or LGA airports to Manhattan will be around $80 plus tolls.
The Whova conference app and web portal have a ridesharing option that allows you to connect with other attendees arriving at the same time and share transportation. This will be available on June 15th. You can learn more about it here.
