Happy Halloween!

Howl-o-ween

Mom and dad brought me and Toby to Howl-o-ween today! You can see the pretty picture of me in my ladybug costume! We had fun mingling with other doggies. I also had fun today licking the big, orange pumpkin that dad brought in the house. Look how bright it is!

Oh, the Excitment!

Mom brought me to the vet today and then we walked to the pet store, where I mingled with a french bulldog! Mom bought me some yummy bacon & cheddar treats and a toy ducky to share with Toby. Mom and I then went to the park to eat the treats and drink water. It was such an exciting outing!

A New Mouse, etc.

Here I am with the new mouse. Toby has already torn apart the feet, but I still like to play with it.
Mom tells me I'm pretty everyday. Dad tells me I'm pretty stinky everyday.
Auntie Noelle bought me this toy. I broke the squeaker in record time, but I still like to play with it!

Rainbow Bridge

My friend Sausage has left us and his mommy for the Rainbow Bridge. Mom lit a candle for him tonight. Puggy's are such a blessing in this life.

Casey came to play with me today! She had yummy smelling boots on that smelled like a barn; I wish mom had a pair like that! Come back soon, Casey!

Puggy Snacks

Dad pulled this out of the ground the other day! He pulled another today and it was even bigger! Perfect puggy size! They are delicious!

Everyday Wishes

Mom and me just got home from a crazy weekend with the aunties and grandma. My bowels took two days to clear out and I am still recovering by sleeping too much. Auntie Noelle gave me a steak bone one day and thousands of treats the other days.

I got my butt squeezed today. Well, that's all I felt and then it smelled delicious. Too bad the lady in blue wouldn't let me stay around and sniff a while. Boo! to boring people.

4-Legged

Mom and dad tell me how proud they are of me and how I have recovered from my surgery! I can bring them on walks again! Because I have healed so well mom is bringing me along on the girls' weekend! I will have quality time with all of my aunties and grandma and will secretly be able to sit on Auntie Dawn's pillow; I am so excited!

I've Got Mail

A box arrived in the mail for me! It smelled delicious!

Mom makes sure that I share some with Toby. Boo!

Mom says I have back. Dad says Toby likes it. I don't really know what they are talking about, I just want another treat.

Dad & Me

I sit with mom and dad a lot lately. I am not allowed to race wildly around the house, jump up and down, or get really close to Toby's face. Mom said "six more weeks"; that seems so long.

Colbi

My new cousin Colbi! I wish I could meet her so I could sniff her butt.

I am sad because even though mom said "they" were going to fix my knee, it doesn't feel very good right now. I like it best when mom or dad holds me to make me feel better. Hopefully I can run around soon!

P.S. I have a new cousin! Her name is Colbi and she is bigger than I because she is an Akita.

In God's Hands Now

Goodbye cousin Roxie. My mommy and I will miss you tons. Your soft fur, gentle hugs, and loving heart will not be forgotten. Love, Marlene.

Input Please

This is Marlene's mom. I am concerned about her. Last week she was racing wildly about (nothing new) and began limping. I brought her to the vet and they said it was her knee and she would need a few days and should be fine. It has since been a few days and her knee continues to pop in and out of place and she'll go 3-legged; it is so heart wrenching to watch! While I realize this is usually common in older pugs, has anyone ever had this occur with their pug in its younger years (Marlene is not quite 2)? Have they recovered from this? Perhaps she needs more than just a few days? Input would be appreciated.

Valentine's Day & Such

My special Valentine's Day bone! I chew a little bit each day!
I like to keep watch out the back door. Also, this is where the sun shines in during day, so this is where I like to be lazy. If I lay here long enough the dogs next door come out to squat and I get to bark at them. It's very exhilarating.

Ahhh! Rubs on the belly! Bellyrubs! This is what I do when I get them! Expose myself to world! Oh, but the bellyrubs feel oh so good!

Oh! The Excitement!

Mom dressed me and Toby up (much to Toby's dismay, although I actually think he secretly liked it!). I think maybe she had nothing better to do and wanted to make dad laugh.

Mom & Me

Mom is holding me in her arms; I like it when she does that. I like to look at her and sniff my nose. At night I like to cuddle with her under the blankets. It is almost dinner time... only 48 minutes! I hope I get wet food tonight.

Christmas!

Here I am at Grandma & Grandpa's for Christmas Eve. Can you see my treats behind me? Mom wouldn't let me eat them all!!! *gasp* Here is me & a bone that grandma & grandpa gave me for Christmas. It was deliscious! I like to close my eyes when I chew on bones; it helps me to concentrate better and get a better chew!
