Circles of Friendship

A week ago I got to go to quilt away again. Because of all the craziness at home getting things packed up and the house ready to show, I ended up not having my fabric cut before I got there. So I had a lot of catching up to do on the mystery quilt. It was quite an intensive one and only two of the five of us doing the mystery actually got the top finished before the end.

Tea Towels

I tried something new and I think it turned out pretty cute. I have seen a lot of cute tea towels online lately and found an easy way to make some myself. So here is the first attempt.

Dolly Baby

At the family reunion, Brenda brought some fun projects for people to do. One of them was making these cute little comfort dolls. The original pattern didn't have any arms but since I always seem to make things more complicated, I decided to add some. This of course meant that the dress now needed arm holes and they took longer to make. I had all the bodies and the purple dress done before we left. And I just finished up the other two. Little Bird kept coming over to snag them as I was working and trying to take a picture. She snuggled them right up with a look of pure joy.
