Well, on a side note, I actually jumped from 5.3 to 5.5 completely ignoring
5.4 :)
On the overall topic, I mostly agree with what's being said. Move to PECL,
depricate and completely remove in 6.0 or wharever it is going to be
called. As long as everyone is commited to get rid of this travesty, I have
no problem with a softer aproach.
