so i lied

i didn't get a good picture yesterday so you'll have to wait. in the meantime look at my gross backyard with a cute dog in it. we are doing some serious clean-up.

we made a wee saint paddy's lapel vase for our post this week on design*sponge. we also visited with legendary barman mike mccourt at the washington square bar & grill for some lady's pints!

we like it wild- we heart flowers

on we like it wild today- a candy box arrangement how-to for valentines. this one was really fun to make and so easy.



love grows bulb planting

a fun how-to we created for a non-traditional floral valentine at brides.com. we planted a collection of mosses and spring bulbs in jewel tones in a glass cylinder for a terrarium-like look.

we've been busy.

this is all we can show you- until november. we created a bunch of holiday decorations for a fantastic photoshoot yesterday. everyone was so so nice, brought us cute sweaters to wear, took amazing photos that we got to peek at, and bought sushi for lunch.

nut garland

here's one of the projects we made for the sf chronicle article last week- a garland of nuts. we drilled small holes through mixed nuts, spray-painted matte white, strung with fishing line, and finished with some fancy gold ribbons...fun!
