gliding wing

swiftly across my sight

followed by 

a fragment of song –

Wet Spring Haiku

sodden ground

greening as new weeds

split the mulch

rain-soaked Spring –

perhaps this Summer

no bushfires? 

I choose bright colours...

I choose bright colours

today, to match the flowers

this first day of Spring

Spring haiku

Oh!
the bougainvillea –
purple splash

tendrils
reach from the vine
seeking

drab trees
brighten overnight –
new blooms
