Hi Bianca, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
My name is Bianca Grant and I’m the owner of Sommer Styles Boutique based in South Florida. As a former model, I’ve always loved fashion which is why I finally decided to pursue my dreams of owning my own boutique and pivoting from corporate America back into the fashion industry 4 years ago.
Sommer Styles Boutique is my baby that is continuously growing and expanding. I’ve always had my own style since a young girl and I never liked following trends. I started modeling at 17 which lead to me being signed to a midwest based modeling agency called LModelz.
The experience was amazing, it allowed me to meet many designers which lead to me modeling in many fashion shows throughout my twenties, which played an instrumental part in why I grew to love fashion even more. I believe your style is a part of your personality and always speaks for you when you walk into any room. Everyone should have their own style and be confident in how they look.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I’ve had many struggles along the way but I wouldn’t change any of them because it has made me appreciate the journey that much more. I’m looking forward to what’s next for my Sommer Styles Boutique brand.

My boutique is a women’s clothing boutique based in South Florida and we specialize in women’s clothing and accessories. We’ve been considering incorporating men’s clothing as we receive a lot of inquiries and feedback from our customers and supporters on social media. We’re known for our classy unique with a dose of edge. We love to hear that our customers enjoy the variety of styles that Sommer Styles Boutique offers.
We’ve grown a lot over the last few years and appreciate and would like to thank everyone who has ever shown my business any love and support. Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite childhood memories have always been playing Monopoly, dominoes, and card games with my family, playing basketball, and enjoying holiday gatherings.
