Main Responsibilities
At the end of the event, we aim to leave the venue exactly as we found it. The cleanup team plays a key role in ensuring this process is quick and efficient — many helping hands make light work.
Typical cleanup tasks include:
- Removing distributed materials such as printed schedules, room signs, and flyers
- Collecting badges from attendees (if reusable)
- Dismantling and packing up the registration desk area
- Checking rooms for lost or forgotten items
- Assisting with returning technical or promotional materials to their storage locations
Additional Notes
- Be careful not to discard any items that may belong to the venue or organisers.
- Hand any found items to the lost-and-found collection point (usually the registration desk).
- Work in teams to make the process faster and more enjoyable.
- Always follow any instructions provided by the venue staff or conference organisers regarding waste sorting, recycling, and equipment handling.
- Once cleanup is complete, check with the organising team before leaving to ensure all assigned areas are done.
