How Can I Use It?

How to Access the Web Application
Fill out the activation form. You will immediately receive an email from Turnitin (check your spam folder as well) and a separate email from the Library administrator with detailed instructions.
How to Access It via Your Microsoft Account
Follow the login instructions using your institutional Microsoft account here
Is There an Acceptable Plagiarism Percentage?
The decision as to whether plagiarism has occurred is the exclusive responsibility of the instructor. You can learn more about interpreting the similarity report more here
Can I Apply Filters in the Similarity Report and Receive a New Version?
- Yes, filters and exclusions can be applied to the similarity report (e.g., sources, small matches, specific words). A new version of the report will be generated more here. In the Draft Coach version, filtered reports cannot be saved.
Can Turnitin Detect Translated Text?
- Yes, both in the e-learning version and on Turnitin.com, and only when using "All Classes – Assignment" more here
Turnitin supports Translated Matching for texts translated into Greek, among other languages. The maximum file size for this function is 150,000 characters (approximately 25,000 words). This feature is available only in the web application and via e-learning.
To enable it:
Check the box "Enable Translated Matching" during assignment setup.
