I think if you drill down a bit past the first paragraph citing uncertainty, you’ll find there’s a pretty consistent body of scientific findings naming various ill-health effects. Maybe follow up on those specific studies, supplementing with ScienceDaily and PubMed material as needed?

I’m not a nutritionist, and haven’t spent much time myself researching palm oil studies, but I can tell you as someone who’s tried to keep abreast of nutritional news for decades, so far I’ve only seen negative findings upon palm oil, both as a food and as an ecological agent of destruction.

The founders spoke perfectly fine English, but at least one of them seemed sensitive about the issue, so I didn’t pursue.

There’s a Mexican place that opened very close to me, and I’ve been a bit bewildered by the general lack of flavor in their stuff. Examples would be their barbacoa, birria, pastor, chicken tinga, and carnitas. Funnily-enough, they load up the spices in their ground beef, so that’s most usually my protein filling. 😕

I really don’t know quite what to say in trying to suggest to a Oaxacan-style restaurant that their meats need more spices…

Adding on, the lion could also represent a certain hubris, or limitation, of perspective. As in-- in his mind he’s tops of what he surveys, but that bull elephant a mile down the road? Not gonna mess with it. The disease-carrying mosquito or tsetse fly buzzing around? No contest there. That pack of vicious hyenas, yonder? Rarely if ever gonna mess with them, especially solo.

Kinda brings to mind the wild, never-ending battles raging in Kruger Park…

There are couple free versions for Android (and I would guess, Apple too).

Lone Wolf Saga was adapted from what were originally books, I believe. There’s even a sequel series, I think. Choice Games, (i.e. the one with Ranger saga, Wizard saga, Thief saga etc) is also great, with some seriously impressive writing.

If I understand correctly, the classic dictator approach is to appoint relatively competent underlings in positions of power, as long as they aren’t real threats, with most of their aggression spent punching down or squabbling amongst themselves.

By contrast, the idea here seems to be in appointing bumbling nitwits at said positions, such that after they make fools of themselves, they can then be blamed for this or that and ejected like a used diaper.
