It goes quite well in a drink called “The Last Word”. It’s 1 part gin, 1 part green Chartreuse, and 1 part maraschino liqueur.

Rain happens without thunder all the time tho

Dark money has been flowing through the government since citizens united.Trump is a piece of shit, but don’t give him more credit than is due. Dark money has been an issue for a long time, and this is far from the start.
Crazy how we have a phrase like “power corrupts” yet refuse to treat it as a mental illness.
More like “life is a Piss-on” amirite
Foreigners when it’s convenient: “America is the most propagandized nation in the world”
Foreigners responding to American Propaganda: “Clearly the news is 100% right about everything they say about the American people”
I program for ships (the water kind) and buddy, you ain’t seen nothin’. I’m talking server infrastructure from 1991. Spaghetti code from the 80’s. I had a program that had to run on a dos box, and we had to replace the whole thing because the original developer fucking DIED and no one could read his shit.

Payday loans already do this.

Came here to say this. It holds up really well and remains relevant.

I guess we all “teleport” to Waffle House from time to time.

AI does not have motivation, sentient thought, or any awareness of what it’s doing. It is a program using a computational principle to predict text in response to an input. It’s no more capable of thought than a program like GTA V.
Any apparent motivation attributed to AI is actually the motivation of the people invoking it. When individuals claim that AI is compelling them toward a certain action, they are, in reality, using AI as a vehicle to launder their own selfish desires and making those desires appear more objective, rational, or socially acceptable than they truly are. In other words, AI is propaganda. It provides a convenient mask for human agendas, as you say.
Haha yeah you guys sure did a good job at standing up to those brexit blokes!
Edit: Forgot to mention the Germans and French throwing soup at paintings. Wherever will us yanks find such creativity.
Or, we could stop believing this online bullshiteant to divide the movements and stop judging each other based on our worst examples.
I think people forget that bread and pasteries used to be cooked in wood fired ovens with no temp control.

My knee is a free thinker, too.

The second thing is actually pretty easy to answer. The same people from the first part of your answer have also been using their outsized power and influence to erode the power and influence of unions over time. Many actions taken by European unions would be considered illegal in America and met with violent state oppression. While Europe has maintained many of their labor rights from the turn of the 20th century, America’s labor rights have been rolled back to almost before the new deal. Most unions barely have the right to strike, and even when they can that power is exceptionally limited. Basically any effective labor action in the US would require people to accept that they are breaking the law, and will likely die, sustain life altering injury, or go to jail for it. Since most Americans that would benefit from strong unions are living in oppressive poverty to begin with they either see the risks of illegal labor action as too large, or have been propagandized against it.
Or, yah know, you’re prude.
That’s not true. It sounds like you’re confusing nicotine with caffeine. Nicotine is often credited with “taking the edge off” when in reality, that “edge” is a result of nicotine withdrawal.
Caffeine blocks the receptors that react to a chemical the body releases when it’s tired. You’re right that it doesn’t give you more energy, but it does stop you from feeling by tired.
Out of all the common legal drugs (nicotine, alcohol, THC) caffeine actually provides some of the best benefits with least intrusive drawbacks.
I mean you have trees, so they’re mostly on the balcony. I live in a large city (not many trees) of mostly row homes, and they’re on like every window of the side of the houses that face the sun. Not just patios.
Awning. They’re a great way to reduce the need for AC by providing shade in treeless regions.
I was on a submarine for 8 years and I fucking love sitting at a desk that stays level.
