What do valid, risky, and invalid mean?
Valid means the mailbox exists and will accept mail. Invalid means it will not - the address is dead or fake. Risky means we could not confirm with full confidence, so it is usually worth excluding from cold sends. Most verifiers leave every catch-all as risky; we resolve many of them to a clear valid or invalid.
How do you verify catch-all domains?
We go beyond a standard mailbox check with advanced live techniques, including on gateway-protected servers, to confirm whether a specific address on a catch-all domain really exists - instead of writing the whole domain off as risky.
Do you verify Gmail, Yahoo, or other free addresses?
No. We focus on B2B - work emails on company domains. We don't verify free or public providers like Gmail, Yahoo, or Outlook, so leave those off the list you upload.
Can an email marked valid still bounce?
Rarely. A hard bounce can happen if a mailbox is closed after we checked it - report it and we refund the credits. A soft bounce usually means your own domain or IP was flagged by the recipient's server, which is a sending-side issue rather than a verification one.
