Collect bounded, publicly visible guest reviews from Booking.com hotel pages. The Actor uses ordinary Chrome and the public review modal; it does not log in, call undocumented endpoints, alter browser fingerprints, rotate sessions, retry blocked requests, or save raw pages.

Input

  • hotelUrls: one to 10 credential-free HTTPS Booking.com hotel URLs.
  • maxReviews: one to 100 complete reviews per hotel.
  • maxPages: one to five public review-modal pages per hotel.
  • sortBy and optional language: public UI review order and language controls.
  • proxyConfiguration: optional explicit Apify Proxy settings. Direct access is the default; no group or country is selected automatically.

Output

The pay-per-event dataset contains only complete, source-backed reviews. Each row has a deterministic reviewId, canonical hotel identity, at least one review-evidence field, request provenance, extraction method, and connection metadata. Empty values are omitted rather than represented as null, blank, or unknown.

Blocked, empty, invalid, and failed work is stored only in the OUTPUT key-value record. A zero-review run exits nonzero. The direct browser path may use a bounded same-source public JSON-LD fallback only after zero browser results and never after an explicit access boundary or when a proxy was requested.

Limits and responsible use

Booking.com can independently change markup or present CAPTCHA, login, WAF, rate-limit, geofence, access-denied, timeout, or incomplete surfaces. These fail closed. Public reviews can contain personal data; use them only for a legitimate, lawful purpose and follow Booking.com terms and applicable privacy law.
