GitHub Issue Intelligence
**GitHub issue scraper** — Scrape GitHub issues from any repository and get verbatim bug reports and feature requests, plus trend and overview analysis. Most GitHub issue trackers make you scroll a thousand threads by hand. This one ships the analysis you were going to build anyway: which complaints repeat, which feature requests repeat, and whether a repo's pain is trending up or down.
What you get
- Themes people complain about — terms that appear disproportionately in issue bodies, not just the most frequent words
- Themes people request — the same lift-based method applied to feature requests
- Which issues draw the most engagement — ranked by comment count, open vs. closed
- Trend — monthly issue volume, so you can see whether a repo's pain is accelerating or cooling off
How it works
Uses the official GitHub REST API on public repositories (no login). Unauthenticated requests are capped at 60/hour, so page counts are limited accordingly.
Use Cases
- Open-source maintainers triaging a large backlog by what actually repeats
- Evaluating a dependency's health before adopting it — is its issue pain going up or down
- Competitive research — what a competing open-source project's users keep complaining about
- Dev-tool vendors sourcing real pain points to pitch a fix or an integration against
Pricing
Pay per event. You are charged per item collected and once per analysis you select. Deselect analyses you do not need.
