Look up company data from NorthData (northdata.com) by company name or URL. For each match you get the legal name, commercial register (HRB/HRA) and court, legal form, status, founding date, full address, and the list of officers / management.

Ideal for firmographics, B2B lead enrichment, KYC and due diligence on German and EU companies. No login, no API key.

What it does

• Resolves each company name to its NorthData page (or takes a NorthData URL you paste).
• Extracts structured company data: register number + court, legal form (AG, GmbH, SE, KG, ...), status (active / liquidation / dissolved), founding date, address, and officers (management/board).
• Returns one clean record per company, with an officers array and an officerCount.

Notes

Use the full legal name for the most accurate match (e.g. Bayerische Motoren Werke AG, not BMW); the Actor prefers entities with a real commercial register. foundingDate and some officer roles are present only when NorthData exposes them. NorthData pages are large, so bulk runs are processed with concurrency - residential proxies help at scale.

Login or key? No. Only Germany? NorthData is strongest for DE/AT and covers more of the EU; coverage depends on the entity. Legal? It reads publicly available company-register information; use the data in line with NorthData's terms and applicable law.

Data & lawful use

The source is an official public register, published so that anyone can consult it. Records can name individuals (company officers), so the output may contain personal data even though it is public. If you are in the EU or UK you are the data controller for what you do with it: have a lawful basis, honour access and deletion requests, and respect the register's own reuse conditions, which can restrict marketing or commercial use.
