Tips for Best Results

• Start small — set maxResults to 25-50 on your first run to confirm the city, category, or keyword returns what you expect, then scale up. The cap is exact, so a test run costs exactly what you asked for.
• City, category, and keyword are slugs — and keyword wins — use hyphenated, lowercase forms exactly as they appear in Groupon URLs (new-york, beauty-and-spas), not display names like "New York" or "Beauty & Spas". When query is set it takes priority over City and Category, so clear it for a clean city browse.
• Leave details off for speed — basic browse already returns price, discount, rating, and location. Only enable includeDetails when you genuinely need descriptions, fine print, all locations, or the review summary.
• Read the country column, not your input box — it names the market each deal actually belongs to, which is not always the one you typed. Austria comes back as German deals labelled de; Canadian cities keep ca and CAD even though Groupon now serves them from its main site. Prices always match the column, and every run that swaps markets says so in its finish message.
• Canada prices in CAD, links go to .com — Groupon retired per-city Canadian pages, so Toronto and Vancouver deals arrive through the main site. Deals priced in another currency are dropped and the feed tops back up, so a 300-deal Canadian request returns 300 rows at 100% CAD.
• Browse totals are huge — city and category feeds can hold thousands of deals, so a generous maxResults keeps paginating; keyword search tops out around 1,000 matches.
• Paste URLs to skip slug guessing — if you already have a Groupon page open in your browser, drop its URL into startUrls and the scraper detects whether it's a city, category, search, or single-deal page. A pasted URL also decides the market, overriding the Country field.
