  • Completely eyeballed it but I included every Western imperialist project that was done with Bible in hand and chanting variations of “Deus Vult”, so that’s large chunks of Asia, most of Africa, all of Latin America, and every Western incursion on West Asia from the Crusades to Iran today. And let’s not forget the pagan persecution in the West itself by the Romans. That’s a shit ton of people through the ages, right?

  • Jesus, by far. The people who have been murdered in his name is probably close to or over a good billion, right?

He’s not really a “foundational figure of Christianity” though, his image was just co-opted by the Roman empire which then created the religion also co-opting the actual “Jewish revival” Jesus was at the core of (bringing the fundamentals of monotheism back into mind and expanding the teachings to everyone, not just a small select community).

  • Respectfully, wtf is “food culture”? Is the fascination with taking food pics for Insta and going to popular restaurants you see on TikTok that have great decor and selfie backgrounds? I think it’s ridiculously performative and for silly people.

If you meant “what are your hot takes about food?”, then idk, I think I have pretty lukewarm ones, lol (“Chinese > Italian > Indian” for popular cuisines around the world, for instance).

  • Having a Western-aligned (America and vassal states) leader in close proximity to a nation who has not submitted yet is certainly part of the plan, always, but could the admin truly be incompetent enough to fuck it up for themselves? Or is Orban just being replaced by a different puppet and we’re spectating the theatrics of democracy, no more, no less? I think seeing things as “removing Orban is good for Europe” (and whatever other alternative is “bad for Europe”) is a bit oversimplified.

  • Another lemming posted some data already but I guess, intuitively, it makes sense: no responsibilities and usually taken care of -> some responsibilities without the PFC/maturity necessary to handle them efficiently but you still somewhat prioritise and have time for fun-> even larger responsibilities (usually caring for other people as well, like children and parents) but with enough maturity to handle them without needing to focus on youthful hedonism -> fewer responsibilities but still mature and now probably in a better financial position, and you can already be satisfied with your lot in life and what you’ve done with it -> little to no responsibilities and you’re usually taken care of.
