  • Especially in a neighborhood. I used to live in this one apartment that had the worst other residents. Like, don’t blast your music in the middle of the night? Don’t smoke indoors. Don’t burn the building down. Take out your trash, ever. And don’t use a subwoofer, I cannot believe the amount of people who think this is okay EVER, or in the middle of the night. It wasn’t a small building, too. Using a sub for hours in the middle of the night had to have ruined like a hundred different people’s sleep.

  • It brings up the question of environmental conventions.

Like imagine you lived in one place in the world, then moved to another. Certain expectations of behavior would almost certainly be super different.

Let’s say something you do isn’t the norm there, but was the norm where you moved from, and that thing you do bothers other people.

Whose responsibility is it to act?

Yours, who has just moved somewhere new and different?

Or theirs, who are irritated by the behavior or thing?

  • By saying that some people have different beliefs as to when “history” starts for different people?

Edit: if you really aren’t fucking with me, I think there genuinely might be a miscommunication here. And maybe I’m missing insulting or wronging somebody. Can you clarify when you think I started it?

  • Only the most elite and patriotic people of highest birth are allowed to fight in our toughest, wars. Hesgeth is the pinnacle of the human species, we NEED him on the front line, immediately.

… No, he’s immortal and a genius and doesn’t need weapons or armor, just let his words fight for him. He was chosen by god, you should even put him in a bright orange and lime jumpsuit and give him a megaphone and just drop him out of a plane. What a guy! An angel, even! Probably even has wings and doesn’t need a parachute!

  • I don’t even have an argument here. Chill.

You must be so used to people being contrarian that even my sarcastic criticism triggers your aggression or whatever this is.

Just relax and take a deep breath, nobody here is an enemy.

I’m merely pointing out an interesting idea that to a lot of (maybe even most, or even all) people, history, and therefore one’s worldview and values, are subjective and based around an authority of some kind.

No need to make this weirdly personal and hostile, we are only discussing ideas.
