Uhuh, and are you receiving treatment?

I will not feed your ego by suggesting that narcissists have a hard time in life because of that part of them
And yet narcissists make up a large proportion of the most “wealthy and successful” segments of modern society … ergo, not a disability.
Except that narcissism isn’t a disability
Why do you think that narcisicist is a slur, and not a descriptor?
I was describing a person who I knew, as an example of why I was not going to respect the self-description of people who have a poor relationship with reality.
I also said they were stupid. Which there were. Is that also a slur?

That isn’t what I said or tried to imply, and now I understand why you managed to take entirely the wrong messages from She-Ra

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•People who live in hot and humid regions, what do you generally do or have seen done to reduce the effects of the heat?
1·10 hours agoProbably not … meanwhile here in Vietnam most people have it
I didn’t say that their identity meant they had a disability, that was you.
I don’t consider mental health problems to be a disability, and I don’t consider trans people to have mental health problems because of their identity.

So, you’re a bigot who tries to avoid using bigoted phrasing for some reason
More of a jog or brisk walk, I recon

So … you believe that they have a disability which causes them to identify that way?

3·16 hours agoNone of this is going to help if wet bulb conditions occur … then you have to have air con, or you die.

10·1 day agoSo, a lot of this is duplicated, but it’s a list of what I do against the heat …
External shutters outside of the windows, both are closed the moment the sun hits to shut in the cold(er) air, and open over night. We also have tiled shades over all the windows so there’s no direct sunlight into the house during most of the day.
Ceiling fans running at low speed
Cold 2 minute showers in the middle of the day
Put on a cold wet t-shirt
Wear as little clothing as possible while out of the sun. In the sun, light coloured breathable loose material (linen trousers are a godsend against mosquitoes)
Don’t go outside or be active in the hottest part of the day
Don’t eat much, if at all, during the day
And my wife’s favourite - getting in a kid’s paddling pool (I don’t like it, but she does)
I dated someone who was that sort of detached from reality once, and after trying to humour them I realised that they were just a stupid narcisit … so unless this Etherian Princess you know has demonstrable powers, is in charge of a large region of land, and is actually from Etheria, no I wouldn’t respect their identity.
But even if I did, I wouldn’t confuse how they identified with a work of fiction that is unrelated to their existence.
Umm, you know that Etheria isn’t a real place, right?
So, you were talking to someone online who was daring a princess?

Given how wildly you interpreted She-Ra, I’m going to go out on a limb and consider that your experience did not match reality
