I don’t like my roommates enough to even hang out let alone cuddle, but in August that will change and I’ll have roommates I do want to cuddle with.

I have a TV in my bedroom set up specifically for in case I have a friend over and we want to cuddle on the bed and watch stuff. It’s hooked up to my computer for ad-free YouTube but is separate from my regular computer monitor.
My roommates do have a living room TV but I feel weird about cuddling in front of them.
I don’t think people choose has over electric because of a dumb lust for power, I think it’s because many people can’t charge at home (especially with rents going up and cheap landlords unwilling to install chargers), there are more 15+ year old used gas cars, and outdated worries about range (fast charging has gotten better).

Like electric bicycles with controllers that can be easily swapped, programmed, and tinkered with?
Team Fortress 2 or Transport Fever 2
I don’t wear one, it’s nice to see people’s faces. And sure it still exists, but we’re past the point of it being a big scary virus anymore, I don’t want to act like it’s 2020 and stunt my social growth.
I’m surprised how many people say they still wear masks, I feel like it’s 1 in 50 people at most, but these comments make me think it’s 1 in 2 people.
To be fair, two for one McDoubles seems like a pretty good deal. Why should I care about my data, they’re just using it for advertising/analytics, it’s not like they’re blackmailing me or stealing my identity or robbing me of something I could sell on my own. Seems like a pretty clear win-win: I get reasonably-priced meals and they get data that I wouldn’t be using anyway.
Now the constant notifications and hassle of downloading the app in the first place to get reasonable prices are a different story.

Or more likely Linux will go back to being irrelevant and Windows will continue to reign supreme.
Screens degrade? I’ve been using the same one for 10+ years and I bought it used for $20.
Personally I’d go with an electric bike since it needs significantly less time to charge given the same number of solar cells.

People abroad trusting America perhaps? America seems like it’s really destroyed its reputation lately. Or could be referring to the decay of rule of law with ICE and the like, will the public ever trust the government again?

But even if it’s small, isn’t it an accurate representation of what people as a whole are talking about?
Besides, I know my friends in real life and they won’t shut up about it so it’s not just confined to Lemmy.

It is? I see the Epstein files all over Lemmy and endlessly posted on friends’ social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc)

I do feel like the S bends are a bit tight, seems like it would make it hard to keep a consistent speed if you have to slow down for every intersection. Specifically thinking of e-cargo trikes and trailers that can’t lean into corners like a regular bike can, and take longer to get up to speed.

We desperately need a third browser.
Safari?

But it will end in 2029 since Trump isn’t allowed to have a third term, so someone else will have to run and based off the flip flopping, the winner will probably be a democrat.
123 lb isn’t very heavy at all!
Am I the only one who doesn’t replace light bulbs based on color temperature? I usually keep around whatever is already in the rental unit/whatever spares the last tenants left around, because I usually move every year anyway.
In the rare chance I get a choice, I usually choose daylight though.
It wasn’t common knowledge back then
