Really fun game! I enjoyed how relaxing it felt. While I was playing sometimes I didn’t need to click for the souls to raise, just had to hover over them.

It's good, but the progression is very slow.

What a neat game! Loved playing through it! I would be so happy to buy a full version.

I enjoyed this little game if you were to keep developing this game I maybe change the UI because it felt a little clunky for me other than that I enjoyed it.

a neat, fairly fun, if quite simple, prototype.

i hope to see some development in future!

Glad you enjoyed!

Amazing game!

from a player standpoint. this is a solid proof of concept. the rewards for active and inactive gaming are very good. the slow corruption is really cool and the Shinto angle is great. full disclosure I am not very familiar with the Shinto ideology. however I think if the ground and background slowly got corrupted as your reach as a player grew longer  could  be a real cool visual indicator like red tendrils or something.

Fun game!

44:35, expected an ascension, would be cool if you added

Around 1h of gameplay not bad to be honest

Sick little 1 hour ish incremental, thank you =]

what are you actually supposed to do

(+1)(-2)

hold click on the red graves, hover mouse over the circles that come out, do idle shit

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS I LOVE IT

This was quite nice. I enjoyed the theme, the aesthetic and the gameplay. The variety in the different sub-sections created an engaging feeling of back-and-forth strategic analysis that was very fun. Good job.

would love to see you do a christmas idle maybe?

That's been a lovely little incremental that had an interesting spin on the formula, a cool theme and simple but enjoyable mechanics :D Well done!

This game shows promise! The only thing is a lot of it is unclear like for half the game I didn't know how to get the soul energy or whatever it's called. The progression in the beginning was a bit slow and there could be animations but keep up the good work!

(+6)

That's pretty fun. .. Took me an embarassing amount of time to realize i can just hold down instead of constantly clicking to get the souls

Very cool prototype! I'd be very interested in more of this

Fun game, not really into these types of game, but it kept me hook.

i feel evil

I find it kind of mildly funny that lantern upgrades very very mildly "nerf" how strong Soul Charge is, if the enemy is armored.

Ideally, you have like 300 souls uncollected, do them all at once, and bam, enemy armor is nearly negligible.

TBH technically it doesn't matter at all, if you already have a base damage that makes their armor irrelevant, so this isn't actually anti-synergy, just found it funny though.

Cool game. I really liked the design and art direction of the game, as well as the general thematic vibe. The gameplay was also quite engaging for an incremental. An hour well spent (especially for free).

Nice Game!

I’ve been pushing the little embers into the shrine for like 20 10 minutes now, nothing has changed. What am I doing wrong?

(1 edit) (+2)

Ah the graveyard UI was too small and it fell below the screen. I suggest scanning for the screen resolution and autoscaling the UI based on that .

Also a bit more margin on the bottom for the UI would be good.

(+2)

I see, seems like for high DPI screens, the screen is too big, will look into!

Good game

Great update! I really like how the systems feed into each other now. The progression felt more dynamic, and the endgame less tedious. Still a bit short (some upgrades like cursed shells didn't really have the time to shine), but a much more cohesive experience!

Great to know, thanks for the feedback!

what did the update add

The well system got replaced. Manual input is less mandatory for endgame now, and you get to the secondary resource system much earlier. The combat upgrades are different (more dependent on earlygame progression) and the enemies have different defenses now.

good game

If you've thought about making a sequel/continuation for commercial release I'd definitely buy it.

I like it. I'm now envious. I really need to make that one game I want where you're basically doing this on a train or something. Or a zombie base. Too many ideas, aaaaaaaaaa

Honestly, I thought it was going to be something pretty standard for incremental games, but I was surprised. The game is simple but very fun; it was an hour well spent. :v

barribob is back

Another nice little game, and appreciate that they're free as well
Wish you continued success with your other works

Really cool game! I can see you put your heart and soul (pun unintented) into this masterpiece. Can't wait to see the final product. Keep up the good work mate!

its really cool how production and collection are split, and that production never gets so high as to out pace collection. it means that if you want to focus on the game you can prioritize optimizing production, and always have something to do. it compliments the relatively short run time.

This is really cool! Looking forward to seeing what this turns into :)
