The whole anti-America narrative is essentially a “good nation vs bad nation” type of deal, it portrays America (and often its allies) as some sort of unique evil that happens because of, i dunno, genetics or something.

In reality, these interests and horrors that come out of these interests are shared in common with literally every single nation in the world. Imperialism doesn’t come from some abstract notion of “evil” but rather capital’s need to expand into foreign markets to keep growing and keep profit rates at the same level, and other horrors such as capitalists funding pedophile rings is just a natural outcome of bourgeois society degenerating it’s individual members through the way it is structured - look into any country and you’ll see dehumanization or the aforementioned pedophilia.

Though to be fair, US is today’s center of capital, meaning the national bourgeois as a whole do have the increased capacity to commit these atrocities, but same would be done by other countries if they were centers of capital instead - that’s the point and the real cause.

That seems like a really good reason to be anti-America to me. In the material conditions that actually exist right now, America has the greatest ability to commit atrocities.

It’s weird to me to be like “I have no idea why people hate America, must be because they think Americans are genetically inferior” based on absolutely nothing and then immediately after provide an actual legitimate reason to hate America. It’s like you’re trying to interpret people’s stances in the least charitable way possible.

All nations are bad. Just think about if somebody where to ask you “what nation are you from?” Then your reply would depend on how you border in the world. Nationhood is based on more or less blood and soil logic to enforce the authority of walldoms.

We should abandon national thinking in place of roothood. To ask “which roots do you have?” This would enable you to remove your identity away from walldoms, and explore your identity from an authentic perspective.

By embracing roots, we bring about the letten from which community driven societies can sprout, grow and bloom.
