  • I wasn’t there for the one in my city, but I was nearby getting a ride home after I was done at a pride month event. As I was waiting I saw a lot of older people getting dropped off to attend the protest.

I also saw a funny protest sign. I can’t remember exactly what it said, but I wanna say it was something like:

small feet, small balls, all he does is tweet and golf

Caught me off guard and got a chuckle outta me.

  • I don’t know quite how obscure it is because of how it ended up, but Summer Camp Island.

It’s a 6 season Cartoon Network cartoon about a group of kids who attend a summer camp on a magical island with 3 teenage witch camp counselors. First maybe season or 3 the show is mostly episodic and can be watched in any order after the first establishes some things.

Later seasons they really start having more lore and push more story driven narratives ( and even dividing the season into little character focused mini-arcs for one season ) into the picture. Season 6 definitely felt a little rushed ( probably because cartoon network/hbo just wanted the series finished so they could quickly shove it out and then kill it for tax purposes ), but it has some pretty amazing moments and themes later on. For pretty much as much of the series as I can remember, the show doesn’t have a bunch of “lol random!” style comedy, so you shouldn’t have to worry about that.

One of my biggest gripes is that there’s a later season episode I absolutely cannot watch as someone with arachnophobia because it involves one of the main characters and a talking spider. Other than that, it’s how the pacing can feel a little rushed towards the end of season 6 ( which I, again, attribute the most likely cause being corporate telling the people behind it that they don’t get a season 7 so they better wrap things up as fast as possible ).

  • The one I hate the most is him putting a measurable size to a voxel in minecraft. Dumbest thing because it ment people can make dumb claims about the player being super strong based on pixels being based on a “specified measurement”. Nobody gives a rats ass about that and I swear the only reason people care/cared was because he did it.

Putting weight and measurable size using real world units to a voxel in a sandbox game is just so dumb. There’s no actual way to confirm it because it’s literally just a bunch of pixels on a screen that form a square shape and can be stretched/narrowed depending on your monitor size when doing what 99.999% of people playing the game do: playing the game instead of rigorously analyzing the pixels on a texture sheet.

  • Gotta love how if there’s even just a single day not dedicated to those people ( or how they perceive themselves in some cases ) that they will actively work to dismantle it.

Yeah, you can claim straight pride when a sizeable amount of countries across the world will murder you for being straight, classify it as a mental disorder, etcetera. Until then, shut up and let people live their lives.

  • I absolutely suck at it, but I started a save on SimCity 3000. I have a lot of learning to do because my city is 100% dying, so I should probably run through the tutorial…

I have also been doing very minor chip damage on completing Gemcraft: Chasing Shadows. I’m far enough along it takes a long time for me to beat any levels. And probably even longer when I finally am able to beat the 200+ wave level.

I also discovered that Portal is now 7.63GB in size currently, after buying The Orange Box for $3.99 and wanting to check out a mod I found for Portal that I didn’t realize wasn’t released yet. Don’t know how big the game originally was on launch, but now it’s nearing the 11.88 GB size of Portal 2, which I find insane.

I also kept failing at Zuma Deluxe due to bad luck and skill issues on my end.
