Yes please don’t

My stupid cat has on multiple occasions locked herself in my bathroom by getting behind the door then flopping down, which pushed the door closed. The solution I found was “door pinch guards”. Little foam things that go on the door to stop it from fully closing. Originally designed to stop toddlers from pinching their fingers in the door frame, it works great to prevent my cat from locking the door on herself. That plus your rope strategy may let you keep the door kind of but not fully open.

A novel approach to SCP-871 containment

I’ve only really read his Mistborn novels but I loved them. I’ve been meaning to read more of his stuff, so this is exciting news.

I got rid of my printer years ago and just go to my local library to print things now. $0.10 per page is not a great deal in the grand scheme of things, but it goes to a place I want to have more money, so I still call it a win.

I prefer FOV around 105-110 instead of the common default of 90. And I’m with you on motion blur, what a useless feature.

The four kings are, unintuitively, a DPS check. Make sure your weapon is upgraded as much as possible, and play aggressively and you’ll have more success. The real problems come when you can’t kill them fast enough before a new one spawns in. Either way, good luck! It’s a tough fight but if you beat O&S you can take these guys too.

I’m a simple man. I see an opportunity for another feat, I take it.

Maybe he is. Or maybe he’s a sad guy who was finally given the motivation to try his hardest, and then crashed out and lost his mind when his best wasn’t good enough.

He’s chill at first because he thinks nobody can actually fulfill the undead prophecy, so he doesn’t worry about it and just hangs out. Then you ring the bells and prove him wrong so he goes out to try to make something of himself as well, but when he gets to New Londo Ruins he can’t progress, loses his mind and goes hollow from lack of purpose. That’s all mostly implied, in true Souls fashion they never state it outright, but that’s what I believe is going on with him.
I like making the math rocks go clicky clack though

It’s one of the central themes of the series, and affects multiple main characters in some way throughout the series. It’s portrayed as traumatic and horrible, but I totally understand not wanting to engage with it in any way regardless.

Claymore reads like the love child of Berserk and The Witcher. I don’t know what came first so maybe chronologically that’s not right, but that’s the vibe of the series. I hope you enjoy it too!
I started my own list of DS / Berserk references as well, but I lost it in a PC reformat. I’d love to see yours when you finish it, there really were a lot of references and it’s fun to see the ones I missed

Looking at it on Wikipedia, he keeps himself alive by eating herbs which definitely gives me DeS vibes, plus the general setting seems very much the dark fantasy vibe of the souls series. I’ll check out the actual stories for more. Thanks for the recommendation!

I didn’t know that, thanks!

I have a mason jar full of the desiccant packets that come with the random crap I order. I hang on to them in case my phone decides to go swimming. I recommend it to people, but I don’t think I’ve made many converts lol

My tiny tortle sorcerer is obsessed with putting gems in his mouth. The DM knows this. The party knows this. It makes for some very funny conflicts

The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn’t a Guy at All
The MC is more punk than goth, but it’s a great read.
I’ve had that one staring at me from my bookshelf for months now, I need to get to it. Glad to hear a positive recommendation for it
