  • I had a friend that moved very far away. We stayed in touch for a while. But he was very busy running a business and raising a special needs toddler with his wife so contact became sporadic. At first I was very understanding and would repeatedly initiate contact that generally, but not always, seemed to well received. After a year or two, I pretty much gave up except for an occasional outreach. I thought that he must be mad at me about something though I couldn’t imagine what. After a year or so of minimal contact, I learned that he was suffering from, and hiding, crippling depression. I found out because he hanged himself.

If you care for the person, put in the fucking effort. You don’t know what’s going on in their life. I will never forgive myself for not trying harder.

  • Absolutely agree. 5-star reviews are cheap to buy in bulk anyway so I don’t trust them.

8 Best Places To Buy Google Reviews (Updated List)

My own preference is to go through the 1 and 2-star reviews looking for patterns. Any company can have a bad product slip through quality control and reach a customer. But a company that lets 15 products with the same problem get to customers likely has poor QC. I also check those low-star reviews for replies from a customer service rep. Like I said, any company can have a bad product reach a customer. What the company does when that happens makes a world of difference.

I once had an air fryer that had a switch stop working within a month of buying it. When I contacted the company, they had me cut the power cord and send them a picture of the fryer showing the cut cord, and immediately sent out a new one which has worked perfectly ever since.

  • It’s a Marvel spin-off with no superheroes.

Sort of true. Legion is actually based on the comics and even in the TV series it is revealed that he is Charles Xavier’s son. Also, a big part of the reason that the show is so wild is that you are dealing with a main character who is either a schizophrenic, or a telepathic/telekinetic mutant with reality warping powers, or worst of all both.

I cannot recommend this show enough. I am so tired of shows that lead you around by the nose and explain everything in detail, sometimes over and over. Legion dumps you in the story, apparently in the mind of a madman, and leaves you to figure out what’s going on for yourself. The show guides you, it doesn’t lead you around on a leash. It is a refreshing experience.

Also, Aubrey Plaza and Jemaine Clement are simply amazing in this show. Eight stars out of five in my book.

  • Google has noted that although its utility offered general information about how many instances your data has been found on the dark web due to breaches and what kind of information about you is available online, the feedback from customers indicated that it did not offer any clean remediation steps to follow next. Indeed, the existing dashboard is just a trove of information with no actionable steps. People can find out how their data was stolen, but they can’t do anything about it.

Welcome to the information age where information is everywhere except in people’s heads.

  • Maybe not completely. There were several references to AOS in Wandavision. For example, the Hydra Soap ad is believed to be a nod to the AOS Framework story line where Coulson was sure that Hydra was using soap to mess with everyone’s memories. Also, the Darkhold from AOS which was taken to the dark dimension by Ghost Rider, was returned from there by Morgan Le Fay in the Runaways series. Somehow, Agnes Harkness took possession of it after that and it appeared prominently in Wandavision.
