I bought a new netbook last year to watch stuff on as my old one from like 10 years ago finally fell apart.
I fucking hate the new Windows so much and I’m not techy enough to change the operating system to something better, so I barely use it as watching stuff on my phone is easier.

My second recommendation is Time To Orbit Unknown by Derin Edala the link is to the first chapter of the actual story, as it’s online and completely free.
This one is scifi with future humans in space and lots of mysterious weird shit that keeps happening.
Honestly, click the link and just read the first chapter, it’s addictive and super easy to fall into.
New chapters are out every wednesday and sunday, and chapter 136 comes out tomorrow. I genuinely envy you for having so much of this story ahead of you to binge!

You guys should watch An American Werewolf In London, it’s full of effects like this.
For me the worst is pillowcases, as I use several on each pillow and I remove one every few days so my face is always on a clean fabric.
Climbing into bed only to be greeted with the smell of mildew when your head hits the pillow, is incredibly depressing.
I know the solution is to only use one pillow case at a time, but after over a decade with this stacked method, I really like the routine of knowing to do a load of laundry when my pillows all feel too flimsy to sleep on comfortably, and it saves on storage space if all my pillowcases are either on the pillows or in the laundry bag at any given point.
Pick the slugs off off and throw them outside, or into a cup with some beer in it if you want to personally kill them.
Wipe the plant down with some neem oil to debug anything else that may have hitched a ride.

And clean your plant, there could be more, or worse, eggs. You might want to repot it in fresh soil too.

Eh I’d quite confidently say Farscape is far less problematic than any other show of it’s era and a great many after it.
And humans are not superior in that universe, they once believed they were and evolved into universally hated (but really hot) hyperfascists. Bringing them down was one of the biggest eventual arcs in the show and it wasn’t done by Chriton being superior, he just had wormhole weapon tech in his head that he didn’t want and believed nobody should have.
Chriton is one of the most basic life forms in that part of the galaxy too, he’s barely more sentient than food and it’s mentioned almost once an episode. He gets by by the skin of his teeth and his only real skills are maths and making friends/pissing people off.
(I do like that he also looks like a bit of a gormless idiot too, and testament to the writing and actor as he never comes across as an entitled white boy either.)
Babylon 5 has held up better than DS9 in my opinion, like both are good but B5 is just very clearly much better. The Expanse is fantastic though I agree with you fully there.
(Btw I’m not really arguing with you about anything here, I just wanted to rant about Farscape a little as I love it dearly.)
