MTG@mtgzone.com•Reminder: WOE spoilers are over at /c/spoilers!
4·3 years agoI’m glad it’s in its own containment space, I never liked opening magictcg and have every post be a preview that I don’t even care about.

MTG@mtgzone.com•Recommendations for "premium" card storage boxes/cases?
3·3 years agoI put all my pauper and pioneer staples in those big bundle boxes, they are smaller and easier to handle than the big white ones. Gamegenic arkhive would work as well I suppose, I plan to get one of those when my space runs out.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Which proprietary software do you prefer over their open-source alternatives, and why?
3·3 years agoFree software, as defined by the fsf, preserves the users freedom to study, change and distribute the software. The right to study entails that the source code be made available: Wikipedia article. Calibre is licensed as GPL3, thus it is free software as defined by the fsf.

6·3 years agoboth GNU emacs and vim can have autocompletion powered by the same language servers that vscode uses. They support the same features (jump to definition, rename symbol under cursor etc etc) as well.

Magic: The Gathering@lemmy.ml•Trying to make equipments work in Pauper
2·3 years agoI’ve also been experimenting with an equipment deck lately but it never seemed like a good enough contender for anything but the most casual games. My effort is here, I’m going for a double strike theme as you can see. I try to get more value from the saboteur effects.
I’d consider removing the benevolent blessings in favour of apostles blessing if you’re afraid of losing your creatures. Goblin gabeleer seems like a bad creature to me except when it’s able to end the game as it will die before providing you enough value otherwise.
