@nixCraft@mastodon.social well actually it’s mainly just proof of work in between you the client and the server. So bots do not like proof of work.

@SrMono owh noooooooo. This is actually bad for your privacy. Just saying.

@ClassyHatter @skitazd I also contribute to Linux mint sometimes. So it’s also Dutch.

@jon@vivaldi.net I use #Floorp now (Fork of Firefox).

@rejzor@mastodon.world @nixCraft@mastodon.social ow we definitely can blame games for that. Since there was recently even drama about a game that used to work under Linux, and they didn’t test Linux when “improving” the anti-cheat. Every single anti cheat system could work fine under Linux or wine/Proton, if the developers also test under Linux.

@asterisk@social.linux.pizza @nixCraft@mastodon.social I don’t even believe this data will say locally on the machine in corporate businesses from day 1.

@paladin@mastodon.online @nixCraft@mastodon.social framework 16

@Benaresh@mastodon.social @nixCraft@mastodon.social windows Vista made me install Mint.

@rejzor@mastodon.world @nixCraft@mastodon.social I only run Linux, most games work fine under wine or via steam Proton. If you can’t play a game under Linux due to some stupid anti cheat then don’t promote and play the game.

@aapis@mastodon.world @nixCraft@mastodon.social that will be infinite amount of time until AI becomes profitable

@asterisk@social.linux.pizza @nixCraft@mastodon.social you really gonna believe it’s offline?

@nixCraft@mastodon.social there is a whole political movement to indeed disallow e2e encryption. It’s insane. But true.

@ernest @unofficial_kbin_guide I think a dedicated website like this kbin guide is indeed the way to go. Codeberg wiki is limited in several ways. Making this guide somehow part of an official project / documentation would be great. @unofficial_kbin_guide You agree?

@unofficial_kbin_guide for the most part we can actually copy and paste this guide to the official wiki page we have. 😉

@ernest @20gramsWrench outside isn’t gentle at all. It’s cold, windy and rainy.

@Hairyblue not advising Lemmy. And here is why: https://mstdn.social/@feditips/106835057054633379
@zimno maybe you should try to use Trezor hw wallet?
