She is a BEL ball python, and I’d say we have as close to a “bond” as you can have with a snake. It’s debatable as to whether they can feel love, but she certainly trusts me. We’ve had her for two years and handle her regularly.

I need to take a more recent photo of her, this was from two years ago and she’s so much bigger now.

Great question! Yes, they represent workspaces, with the spaceman indicating which one I’m currently in. It’s not shown in the picture, but I also set it up so that if something was active in another workspace it would change to a rocket ship, indicating that I should “go” there.

I don’t have an exact science. I use about a teaspoon of leaves for a cup of tea, and steep around 4 minutes for the first infusion. If I use the leaves again, I’ll do 6 minutes the second time. If it comes out too light, I’ll resteep. If it comes out too strong, I’ll add milk.
