Angel's Piss, the Big Break album from 2023, has one of THEE Wrong Speed anthems - The Gaffer. It's a perfect garage punk ripper, a summation of working life. I play it each morning on my way to work. I walk into the sorting office and have to do all I can to not smash the radio, kick everything over, set fire to the place. Snot caked vocal. Catchy as hell. FFO The Mummies or The Stools or New Bomb Turks.

This four track EP, more of THAT killer art, more of THAT infectious garagesurfpunx, more radio smashing shit, it's out early June and we want the world to play it on the way to work. They destroyed at the 2023 WSR weekend and will do again in 2025. What a band. Who's like em? Who doesnt like em? Big Break, Sheffield's finest. Fuck me. Fuck you. Fuck everyone.

Late to this Dances / Curses party, but holy hell what a party. This album is phenomenal and compositionally, one the best albums I’ve heard in years. It’s a difficult thing to pull off the scope of something like this clearly drawing from so many influences, yet sitting entirely on their own and never losing steam.
