Chaos International - S/T EP

Poznań, PL based British/Polish multi instrumentalist Vincenzo Wieczerzynski unveils his debut release from new project Chaos International straight off the back of shows with Dark Wave legends Clan Of Xymox, a European tour support slot with rising star Harsh Symmetry and co production and session credits for the most recent Lebanon Hanover 12” single.

With artwork by Jean Lorenzo (Silent Em), inner photo by Polar Noire and mastering by Dea Hydra (Luminance), this anticipated release takes the form of a S/T Demo Cassette EP w/ A4 poster released in a first run of 50 copies via Die Blinden Records, the label off shoot of prestigious Belgian events company Waveteef.

Marking a comeback for Die Blinden after some years of absence and past releases by Pure Ground, Luminance, Raderkraft & more, it will also coincide with the annual and now sold out Waveteef Festival 2024 in Antwerp. Set over the Easter weekend Chaos International appears alongside Minimal Synth/Wave legends of new and old including Absolute Body Control, Turquoise Days, Linear Movement, Soft Riot and more. Cassettes will be available exclusively at the festival with any remaining physical copies available here.

To anticipate the release two previously streamable tracks ('Provos' & 'Terms & Demands') and a new track ‘A Deathly Hunger For War’ are available to stream and download. Harking back as much to the Minimal Synth cassette culture of the 1980's as it does to the late 00s Wierd Records NYC sound, Vincenzo, an advocate of the 'punk ethos', utilises completely hand played analogue electronic instrumentation and disregards traditional MIDI sequenced methods on 'ADHFW'. The lo fi home recording also including a lyrical nod to D-Beat legends ‘Discharge’ in its critique of certain current and past global political policies.
